Pavanda Travel & Tours is proud to reveal you the last undiscovered destination in Europe.

History and relaxation altogether with unique cuisine

Albania is a country with a very ancient civilization. Not only the local, but also other civilizations such as the Greek, Roman and Byzantine have left their marks on this territory. Albania has a thousand years of culture and history.

Exciting past, fabulous beaches, wild mountain sceneries and excellent food

Albania has such a wealth of natural beauties. It is wondering why it took 20 years to get the country started as a tourist destination after the end of the particularly brutal exposure of communism in 1991.

Albania was so backward when it saw the bright light of freedom that it took two decades to catch up with the rest of Eastern Europe. With its breath-taking mountain scenery, its thriving capital Tirana and its beaches, which can compete with all the others in the Mediterranean, Albania has become an insider's tip on the Balkans.

Albania offers a remarkable variety of unique attractions - not least due to its long isolation: old rules of conduct in the mountains, forgotten archaeological sites and villages where time seems to have stood still - all this is on the programme.

Karl May Tours ™

One of the main focuses of Pavanda Travel & Tours are the Karl-May-Tours, which focus on the oriental cycle of this popular author. The underlying stories were published between 1881 and 1888. Who has not read the books - "In the ravines of the Balkans," Through the land of the skipetars or "The Schut". The locations of these travel stories lead from the Turkish Edirne across the Balkans to today's Shkodra in Albania. Even as a child we dreamed of riding through the Balkans like Kara Ben Nemsi and Hajji Halef Omar and becoming part of their adventures.

Karl May traveled fictional into real and imaginary worlds. Our Karl May tours allow you to explore at least the real locations that are mentioned in the books.

Tula (Russia) - exotarium. A must visit for culture - history - and reptile enthusiasts!

The most famous landmark in Tula is the former fortress of the Tula Kremlin (Russian: Тульский кремль), which is the oldest preserved building in the city. It was built between 1509 and 1520 to protect the city and thus the northern territories of the Grand Duchy of Moscow from attacks from the south. The Exotarium has been an important herpetological centre in Russia for more than 20 years. At the same time, it is also a small regional zoo in Tula.

"It was not a romantic, but nonetheless charming area. The mountains were missing; and all the poorer were the deciduous forests to the side of our way, among which stood some evergreens. We passed though splendid fruit plantations, where southern fruits ripened in the open.
Rich yet harvested grain fields stretched to the right and left, and as we neared the village, we saw a large fishpond, in which the trees of a large garden were mirrored."
